I'm not sure what brought me here:
It seems so hard to explain;
I'm away from what most hold so dear,
Just a lonely soul out in the rain,

I thought I belonged somewhere with someone, then the right came along.
Left with a broken heart, while she dances to another song.

They say love knows no distance, but the lonely never ends,
being afraid of loving tommorrow, for yesterdays pain doesn't end

I once walked hand in hand with my best friend,
We counted stars and made dreams become real
We gave life to each other and our precious children
Now I miss what I should feel

Still the memories hold the answer some where in time
When all this hurt is gone happiness I am sure to find.

It's true love knows no distance and love conquers pain
When I feel alone, It's you with me in the rain.
